Refrigerator recycling the ATN way
ATN developed a fast, easy and safe way to recycle refrigerators. Our system/plant can degas and drain oil from refrigerator compressors up to 200 units an hour.
Stage 1 is the first step in the recycling of refrigerators. The compressors of old refrigerators containing CFC and other gasses (ODS) and oil that have to be taken out. The empty compressor has to be removed Before shredding the refrigerator in stage two.
Step one
The patented drill-head takes out the oil and the gas in less then 1 minute.
Step two
A hydraulic cutter removes the compressor from the refrigerator.
With the compressor removed from the unit the fridge can be scrapped in stage two of the refrigerator recycling process.
