Theory of gas treatment plant

ATN Gas Treatment Plant
The type of gasses used in refrigeration techniques are deploying when they are brought to a certain temperature. With the help of the basic schedule below we will explain how it works.

The gas comes in over buffer-tank 3. after being analyzed by sensor A. It is going into the catalytic filters 8 after being pre-heated up to the minimum required temperature. The temperature is determined by  the evaluation of the measurements’ of sensor A. With this quick responding device we are able to avoid that dioxin ore furans are created. In the catalytic filters the temperature is also regulated with the help of valves 7.  After the treatment in the catalytic filters 8 the gas flows into the last catalytic filter 9. With the help of this device the last harmful particles are removed and the temperature is reduced to about 60ºC. The gas flows then to scrubber 10 where with the help of water and caustic soda the gas is reduced to CO2 and salt. The salt is taken out of reservoir 11. The CO2 leaves the plant after being checked with the help of sensor B. This sensor sends his data to the main computer. Based on this analyses the complete process is fine-tuned by the computer.
With this system it is not important what type of gas is coming in. The quick responding control-unit is dealing with that.

At the end you will have a very efficient environmental friendly system that is able to reduce your costs considerably and improves the reliability of your complete refrigerator recycling plant.

No more expensive condensing of collected gas from refrigerant equipment stage 1 and 2. With the ATN Gas Treatment Plant you will be able to transform harmful gas into harmless salt and a little bit of CO2. That means a CO2 reduction of 80%, because there’s no energy needed for a condensing unit and no CO2 is being produced during transport. Regardless whether the gas is inflammable or not, the ATN Gas Treatment Plant can deal with that.

An other advantage is that you don’t need nitrogen in order to inert the second stage shredder. This plant produces its own fire-extinguishing system.  Namely CO2. This is also a considerable reduction of your operational costs.

Just to give you an impression of what is happening inside the plant here are some formulas:

1. C4H10+7O2-> 4CO2+5H2O+ energy
2. C3H8+5O2 ->  3CO2+4H2O+ energy
3. 2NH3+4O2 ->  2NO  +6H2O+ energy
4. HCFC+energy ->   F- +  CL-  + H20+CO2

The Fluor and the Chlorine will be captured and treated in the gas scrubber and formed into harmless gasses and salt.
